BONSERNEWS.com – “The team found the identity of the victim. The identity of the victim was in the name of the initials R,” said Dirreskrimum Polda DIY Kombes FX Endriadi.
“The person concerned is a student studying at a private university in Yogyakarta,” he continued.
Endriadi said the identity of the mutilation victim was known from forensic results.

He also said the victim was a resident of Pangkalpinang, Kep Bangka Belitung Province.
“Yes (Pangkal Pinang resident). We will inform (the family) later,” he said.
The two perpetrators of mutilation had the initials W and RD. The two were arrested in Bogor, West Java, Saturday (15/7) evening.

“The suspected perpetrator W is a Magelang resident’s KTP, then the RD KTP is a DKI Jakarta resident,” said Endriadi.
Previously, pieces of a human body suspected of being a mutilation victim were found in the Bedog River area, Bangunkerto, Turi, Sleman, DIY, Wednesday (12/7) evening.
In addition, the police also found several pieces of human bodies in other areas. It is strongly suspected that the findings are interrelated.
The human remains were found in Merdikorejo Village, Tempel, Sleman.
There were several body parts that were found, namely the head, legs and also parts of the victim’s hands.
