A tectonic earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 rocked the Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), Friday (30/6/2023) evening.

The epicenter of the earthquake was located at coordinates 8.63 south latitude and 110.80 east longitude, or to be exact 86 km southwest of Bantul, located in the sea at a depth of 25 km.
