The Bekasi Regency District Attorney Has Detained Hanapi, Acting Head of Samudrajaya Village, Tarumajaya District


BONSERNEWS.com – Hanapi was detained because he was proven to have committed a criminal act of corruption by cutting funds for repairs of uninhabitable houses (Rutilahu) in Jejalen Jaya Village, Tambun Utara District, Bekasi Regency.

The District Attorney’s Office for Bekasi Regency, West Java has detained Hanapi, Acting Head of Samudrajaya Village, Tarumajaya District.

The Head of the Bekasi Regency District Attorney, Ricky Setiawan Anas, said that the suspect Hanapi was detained after being proven guilty of corruption.

At that time, he acted as a companion to the housing repair assistance facility program for low-income people funded by the 2015 Bekasi Regency APBD.

“The suspect made deductions of Rp. 3,000,000 for 25 beneficiaries of the house repair assistance,” said Ricky.

Ricky explained that this case was initially revealed based on a police report and then handled by Bekasi Metro Police investigators.

During this process, the police collaborated with the Construction Services Development Agency (LPJK) to inspect 25 houses that received assistance.

In the results of the inspection it was found that the repairs made were not in accordance with the specified specifications, and the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) calculated the state financial losses.

“The value of the building does not match the value of the assistance received by the beneficiaries,” he explained.

As evidence, a bundle of accountability reports for the 2015 housing repair assistance facility for low-income people (BPRBMBR) in Jejalen Jaya Village, Tambun Utara District, was secured.

“Based on the calculation of BPKP DKI Jakarta Provincial Representative, the state loss reached IDR 233,644,382.19,” he added.

This action violated Article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes. ()
