KAI Public Relations Manager Daop 4 Semarang Ixfan Hendri Wintoko said that at this time, the fire on the locomotive had been successfully extinguished.

For train trips, he added, until now there are 6 passenger train trips that have experienced delays, namely KA 112 Brantas, KA 178 Kamandaka, KA 199F Kaligung, KA 111 Brantas, KA 129 Gumarang, KA 220 Kertajaya.
KAI apologizes for the interruption of the train journey that occurred.

KAI has made various efforts to normalize the railroad tracks so that train trips do not experience delays.
The police said that there were no fatalities in the accident between the train and a trailer truck at a train crossing in the city of Semarang, Central Java.
Kapolrestabes Semarang Kombes Pol Irwan Anwar said that so far there were only injured victims in the incident.
There were no fatalities in this incident, but one passenger was injured by jumping from the train.
Irwan said the injured victims were train passengers who panicked during the incident so they jumped off the train.
