BONSERNEWS.com – Flood events in West Sumatra resulted in fatalities.
One person was reported dead in Padang Pariaman Regency.
Floods and landslides have hit Padang Pariaman Regency since last Thursday (13/7).

“Apart from the death toll, a resident is also reported missing,” said the Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information and Communication Center, Abdul Muhari.
From reports received by the BNPB’s Operations Control Center (Pusdalops), up to Saturday (15/7) it was recorded that around 1,138 heads of families were affected.
There are 170 residents fled to a safer place.

The flood incident also affected 1,114 residential units, 192 hectares of rice fields, 22 hectares of gardens, and 30 public facilities.
Until yesterday the Padang Pariaman BPBD and the joint team were still at the affected location to carry out disaster emergency management, quickly assess the situation, search for missing victims, evacuate affected residents and distribute logistical assistance.
