He was determined to sell the baby because he was wrapped up in arisan money.
The mother, with the initials Hi, sold her baby with Ap as the buyer, a resident of Mranggen, Demak Regency who was secured by the Semarang Polrestabes PPA Unit.

The two housewives were secured at the hotel in the Tugu City Semarang area.
Those who know them through social media previously made a sale and purchase transaction for a baby worth IDR 30 million.
The two agreed to meet at a hotel to hand over the baby on Tuesday (11/7/2023).

But after the two of them made the transaction and handed over the baby, the mother felt regret.

“After telling her husband, the husband and wife then reported it to the SPKT,” said Semarang Deputy Chief of Police AKBP Wiwit Wibisono.
“Armed with reports from the husband and mother of the baby who surrendered, the PPA Unit then tracked down the whereabouts of the baby’s buyer who is a resident of Mranggen, Demak,” he added.
Meanwhile, the mother who sold the baby admitted to using Rp. 25 million from the sale of her baby to pay off debts. “Meanwhile, I still keep the 5 million,” he said.
