BONSERNEWS.com – A house fire occurred in Sekelimus Barat, Batununggal Village, Bandung Kidul District, Bandung City.
The roof of the house in the densely populated settlement was scorched by the Red Rooster.
Officers from the Bandung City Fire and Disaster Management Service (Diskar PB) are still doing the cooling.

“We received a report at 09.03 WIB from the community that there was a fire in Sekelimus, one house, we are still taking an inventory of which houses were affected,” said the Head of Operational Preparedness for Blackout and Rescue Diskar PB Bandung City M Yusuf at the TKP.
Yusuf revealed that 5 fire engines from UPT Timur and Central were dispatched to handle it.
“We don’t want to take the risk because this is in a densely populated settlement,” he said.

Yusuf confirmed that only one housing unit was burned and there were no casualties in this incident.
“Thank God, now we are cooling down. The cause is unknown, we are focusing on the blackout, there are no victims as a result of the investigation and checking of family members belonging to the house,” he said.
Meanwhile, the owner of Lina’s house said the fire was thought to have started due to an explosion from a cellphone charger.
“The fire appeared from above, from my sister’s room, while charging her cell phone,” said Lina.
Lina said, the fire appeared and grew very quickly.
He had time to do blackout with makeshift tools.
